KUDOS DR. KHOO KAY PENG

We can’t help but agree with the Dr. Khoo Kay Peng that the non Malays being the minority group give up the use of the mother tongue as a medium of instruction in primary and secondary schools.

After all, it is a fact that Mandarin is not the mother tongue of the Chinese in this country.

After more than 51 years of independence, there exists only a veneer of unity in this country. Extremist groups like a Hindraf and Dong Jiao Zong certainly should not to be allowed to exist. Their actions have only exacerbated the already existing polarization in schools and institutions of higher learning.

It is well nigh impossible for assimilation let alone integration to take place in this country, when a Chinese boy or girl can be isolated from early primary going on to secondary and then furthering into tertiary still isolated from the majorities this country.
That is why we have the likes of that Chinese rapper who abused the National Anthem and disgraced their Royal Majesties.

MCA is toothless when it comes to dealing with Dong Jiao Zong. Even now when this extremist NGO is threatening to go on a nationwide demonstration the MCA is silent and helpless.

More and more middle class malaysian are beginning to feel that democracy in this country still needs to be guided. Too much of anything will certainly bring ill.
