A number of our Datuk’s have been charged in court for various offences, but mostly for corruption and CBT.
However, Datuk Koay Khay Chye, I think has beaten them all. He has been charged for drug trafficking worth RM 20 million and faces the mandatory death penalty.
Previous to that, he had had five other convictions including theft, firearms and corruption. It makes us all wonder why he has not been stripped of his Datukship despite his criminal record.
Datuk Koay Khay Chye may be just the tip of iceberg. We really don’t know the sort of characters who are awarded Datukship nowadays. These people drag the titles awarded to them through the muck and tarnish not only the state that awards the title but the dignity of their Royal Highnesses.
On another matter, there is the case of YB’s and Exco’s in Pakatan Rakyat Selangor who are being investigated for their linkages to gangsterism and underworld activities. On the one hand, we have the Prime Minister targeting the reduction of crime as one of his main KRA’s but one other we have elected representatives of the PKR Government in Selangor who are linked with the mushrooming of shady night spots in the state of Selangor.
I would urge the authorities, especially our Police Force, to investigate the matter thoroughly and act with alacrity to bring to an end the activities of these goons.
We must all play our part to make this country a better and a safer place for our children.

Di Malaysia hari ni, terlampau ramai Datuk, Dato'+ Seri, Utama, Paduka, Wira, Patinggi dll. Sultan dan TYT punyai kuasa nak kurnia pada sesipa yang disukai. Shah Rukh Khan pun dapat Datuk. Apa jasa dia pada Melaka pun masih kurang jelas.
Yang saja saja bubuh Datuk kat pangkal nama pun ada. Tapi kalau dah buat onar pun masih kekal DATUK, ada yang tak kena pada sistem yang kita pakai. Mereka yg buat banyak onar, edar ganja, rogol, bunuh, rosk alam sekitar perlu ditarik gelaran. Pihak polis, mahkamah perlu ada database mereka yang dapat anugerah ni. Kalau tak title Datuk dll tiada maknanya lagi.
Kenapa orang Melayu yg tiada kaitan politik kurang sangat dapat Datuk???? Kasihan orang Melayu. Tak aktif dlm UMNO, tak merasa le jadi Datuk. Orang Melayu tak berjasa kepada tanah air sendiri ke???????
